Delayed Send / Undo Send#25

A delayed send / undo send feature would be of major benefit. Even a selectable buffer of 10 seconds to 1 minute, where a message is briefly held in an outbox before sending, could help prevent typos, rushed replies and outdated information from being sent too soon.

In fast-moving communications environments, details can change in seconds. That short delay provides a simple safeguard and can help prevent confusion, unnecessary follow-up and avoidable mistakes.

From my own experience, it can be the difference between sending an update to 100+ families saying their childcare centre is lice-free, only to have a director step in moments later and say not to send it because a new case has just been confirmed.

This would be a genuinely useful feature for teams sending high volumes of time-sensitive communication
